Postmodernism in SheHulk

Postmodernism is a mass production has saturated culture to such a degree that it is difficult to tell truth from representation (hyperreality). Some of the postmodernism which is included in the movie "SheHulk" are self-reflexivity, fragmented narrative, and loss of reality.

"SheHulk" is an action-adventure movie that was released in 2022 produced by Marvel Studios. This movie is considered as one of the movie that contains a lot of features of postmodernism, especially, self-reflexivity. Self-reflexivity itself is when the characters acknowledge that they are in film. This is shown through the scene when the character said "this is a mess, none of the storyline make any sense" before it changes to the Marvel menu and SheHulk breaks the wall and ge into the "real life world". This shows that the main characters recognize that she is just a movie character. Another postmodernism key features shown is fragmented narrative whereas the storyline of the movie are jumping back in some scene and it goes back into their actual scene (future). This is utilized to underline the subjective and arbitrary nature of truth and meaning as well as to reflect the complex and multifaceted aspect of reality. Furthermore, SheHulk also include so many loss of reality in the movie. For example, when SheHulk meets KEVIN in Marvel Studio when she move to the real world and when she had a conversation with KEVIN that is not human but instead, KEVIN is a robot that controls the whole movie. Another example is when DareDevil came to the real world and meet SheHulk.

  1. - "Some of the postmodernism which is included in the movie "SheHulk" are self-reflexivity, fragmented narrative, and loss of reality." This would be better as the topic sentence for your P1.
    - The intro is too short and does not really explain what postmodernism is.
    - It doesn't sound like you truly understand what is the purpose of postmodernism. You need to define the features in your own words, then give an example. Then explain why including that feature makes this text postmodern. Remember, postmodernism is a critique on society.
    - Your examples are only discussed on the surface, with no deeper meaning.
